Lane Regional Medical Center

An organizational meeting to establish a general acute care hospital in the northern part of East Baton Rouge parish was
held in February 1957, and four months later, Hospital Service District #1 was created. When Lane opened in November, 1960, They were a 40-bed acute care not-for-profit hospital.
