in Saco and Kennebunk. Home health care is provided by Southern Maine Medical Center Visiting Nurses. Southern Maine Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission, and is a member of the MaineHealth network.
Southern Maine Medical Center has been providing quality medical care to this community since 1906. On February 24, 1979, They opened Southern Maine Medical Center’s present facilities near Exit 32 of the Maine Turnpike, offering a full range of medical, surgical, obstetric, mental health and educational services to York County.
The Medical Staff of Southern Maine Medical Center consists of approximately 200 active physicians, plus consulting, courtesy, honorary physicians, and allied health professionals. In addition, Southern Maine Medical Center has an ongoing physician recruitment program, working to attract primary care and specialist physicians to meet the growing needs of the community.
